  7″ monitor for Canon HF G20

  Hi

  We use these cameras for streaming, mini HDMI port out and converted to SDI.

  I would like to use a 7″ monitor on (or near ) the camera.

  The camera does not have a hot shoe. Any suggestions about mounting the monitor ?

  Would I have to use a HDMI splitter to get video to the monitor ?

  Is there any possiibility that this camera allows simultaneous video out both the AV port and HDMI port ? That way I could save on the splitter but sending only SD to the monitor.

  Any other suggestions for employing the monitor, hard to continually use the flip out screen during a game.
