HELP PLEASE! – 7.1 Export on Premiere Pro
HELP PLEASE!
I’ve just finished my first feature documentary and it’s due for it’s world premiere at a good international film festival (even been nominated for 4 awards including best film) in just under 3 weeks time.
I have received the final 7.1 surround sound mix from my audio studio (6 hours from me) and I thought it’d be easy to simply import that mix into Premiere, attach it to my colour graded film in a new multi-channel sequence, then export with everything perfect as a 7.1 surround sound film.
But when I googled a ‘how to’ not much came up in the way of tutorials or advice, and there’s this thread from Creative Cow a while back that says if I import and export via Premiere Pro i’ll lose the ordering of the mix and the 7.1 will not play properly…
Can someone please advise if this is possible or advisable via Premiere?
3 weeks is plenty of time to export a film, but at the same time my schedule is crazy with media stuff etc right now and this issue is throwing a bit of a spanner in the works.
Many thanks in advance!!
