6.5 MPEG Encoder-no sound
First off I know this thread is for Pro and I am using 6.5, sorry. My .avi audio is at 44.1k but the default in the encoder is 48k. It gave me a file with no audio. when I saw the sample rate was not the same I changed the encoder to do it as 44.1k wich also automatically swithced the file type to MPEG layer 2(which I think is the one I want anyway since it will be burnt to a DVD). The problem is that it then gave me an error in red saying “invalid audio sample rate”.
Any suggestions? -

6.5 doesn’t understand odd audio rates basically only 48khz or 32khz, you need to upsample your audio from 44.1khz(CD) to 48khz, most sound editors should be able to do this
