6.5 and Ulead dvd workshop 2 crashed me
Hi,
Running windows 2000 with 6.5
Loaded my DVD Workshop2- had trouble, my PC has been spotty since a recent crash- got an error message from Ulead- was missing a DirectX file- reloaded my DirectX- Ulead fired up- but seemed a little weird- so I uninstalled- was gonna try a clean, new oad- and the next thing I knew- ulead isn’t working and it wiped out my Adobe AE and Premiere.
All start to load- then I get error message about creating an error list (which never generates) and they don’t load.
I initially got a VIO error from Ulead- which I googled- and discovered the DirectX fix.
Now I just get the “…has generated erros and will be closed….error log being created”…which I never see.Oddly- I seem to be able to fired up my Ulead Media Studio- which I never work with!
So something was ripped from the library during the uninstall and has wiped out my video capabilities with Adobe and DVD workshop?
Please help- got an edited i need to get done!

Raine… This sounds kinda’ bad. I don’t know what kind of system restore you have in 2K, but if you have something like that it’s worth considering.
This sounds like the kind of thing that would make me wipe & reload my OS.Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling all affected apps, restarting before each install.
