Shot some 720 60P footage with an HDX-900. I was using the footage for slow mo using apple cinetools to convert. Curious if there is anyway to convert it to 24p, so its in realtime, but has the 24p look and not the 60p look.

latest versions of FCP & AE, on a MacPro.

    Two ways I know:

    1) drop 60p footage on 24p timeline. FCP will throw away frames to make it 24p and it retains the 24p motion, but will be a bit un-smooth as frames are thrown away.

    2) in my Standards Conversion plugin, I put in a routine to allow 60p to 24p with control over frame blending to smooth things out.

Of course, you can get Compressor or whatever to do the conversion too – try your alternatives and see what works best for you and your footage.
