60p 28M (PS) record setting
My Sony A77 AVCHD DSLR can shoot 60p 28M (PS) record setting.
This can’t burn to DVD neither to BluRay, however the recommendation is to shoot in the highest qualtity possible because you can always downsample/re-encoding.
I can bring 60p 28M footage into the timeline of VP12, a template comes up: Custom 1920×1080, 59,940 fps
Framerate 59,940 (double NTSC)
But when I Render As, no Output Format is available.
Is there for now a recommended rendering ?
Any thoughts /suggestions appreciatedWouter Slagter

Are you running the newest build of Pro 12?
There were several bug fixes and some of them are applicable to your issues.

Wouter, I don’t do Blu-ray yet but 60p (59.94) isn’t a valid Blu-ray render option which is why nothing shows up for you.

For Blu-ray you need to select 29.97fps. Blu-ray only supports 29.97fps, 25fps and 23.976fps.
