60D firmware 1.09 on mac non working
i found tons of posts online about the canon 60d 1.09 firmware not working but no solutions. once you download the file you are to copy the 60d00109.fir file to a SDHC card and then conduct the firmware update from the camera. .fir won’t copy to a SDHC card formatted in the 60D. changing permissions doesn’t work either. has anyone had any luck getting this file on a sdhc card?

Maybe find someone how has access to a windows machine. Had no problem copying the .fir file with windows and updating the firmware.

worked fine for me, copied it to the SD card from my Mac and then upgraded on the Camera
Format the SD card in the camera before copying the file over
