6.02 loses Hyper Threading on certain PC motherboards / ram configurations
If you have one of the newer Intel or HP motherboards with lots of ram you might want to check a fairly demanding timeline with both the GPU set to software and then to hardware while running Task Manager displaying CPU usage.
I did this on my HP Z820 with 64GB rams after reading a thread entry by Eric Bowen (ADK) about reduced performance. In software mode with no GPU hardware I had HT threading on all processors. When I turned on the GPU all the HT processors stopped working. This was quite different then what I saw with 6.0.
I made 2 changes to the registry that he recommended and am happy to report I now have full HT activity AND GPU functionality at the same time.
