6 gig on dvd?
Heloo. Is it possible to put a 6 gb file on a dvd (bij compressing or so). It ssems that some dvd’s hold more that 4.7 gb (one site). IOW how can I backup a large file on dvd?

You will need to use a Dual Layer DVD for that.

can’t t be burned unto 2 seperate dvd’s or so….? is there a way to split a 6 gig dmg file? -
Yes it does require a dual layer burner. What exactly are you trying to burn on to DVD.

answer: one large .dmg file > 6 GB

And what is in that dmg, is it something that you could split half the files to one and half to another. Is it a DMG that you created yourself, if so try selecting compressed when making the dmg.
