Hey guys:
Question about 5D to RGB which i just started using. i converted a few files to PRORES 422 and put the converted files on my raid and removed the H264’s to another location. when i tried to import them into FCP, FCP started looking for the H264 files and said the prores will not play properly if the files are not found. so i tried opening in QT, same message. even in MP stream clip.Is it the 5D to RGB really just creates a PRORES proxy of some sort and will still need the original file as a reference ? or are my setting screwed up. aren’t these files supposed to be self contained files ?
Used ITUR 709, matrix for HD
