5D MKII files into PAL 25fps – how to… ???
Just today i was testing MKII for some video shooting and its AMAZING but…
I need some of the footage convert into SD/Pal resolution and 25fps. With frame rate it wasn’t hard butwhen i put the file into Premiere CS4 and click “scale to fit” the is blure/soapy effetc. The video is far from sharpness (as it is in original file). Is it ‘casue the source file is in progressive and output is lower fields?
How can i get sharp clear footage from it into SD???

Right Peter, but the OP is using Premiere Pro. I referenced P. Bloom’s tutorial because he initially is using Mpeg Streamclip for the conversion for import in FCP, etc.. Most anyone should be able to figure out in Streamclip what type of file they need to convert to.
