    Hi,

Is it possible to change the color space flag to RGB without transcoding or converting?
Correct me if I’m wrong. 5d is recording in RGB color space, but when I check the files with MediaInfo it says
    Color Space: YUV
    Color Primaries: BT.709-5
    And so on.

And why is the Matrix coefficients 601? Shouldn’t it be 709 as well?

    Confused, but not yet dazed

Since Mark III Canon 5D records in bt.709 color space. Mark II uses bt.601. You can change it to 709 while transcoding at your peril – from my own experience I can testify that consequences are dramatic color shift – in cases of mixed sources of light 5DtoRGB, for instance, rendered it almost unusable.
