  5D mark III footage has crushed blacks on ingest

  HI Everyone,
  I’m trying to get some 5d mark III footage into Final Cut 7 (Snow leopard), but it’s coming in with badly crushed blacks. I understand that there’s a color space change on the mark 3 and that this can happen. On my laptop running Lion, CS6 media encoder handles the media properly, but I need to get this to work with this on my Mac Pro workstation.

  I tried updating to the latest EOS movie plugin (v1.3) but still getting crushed blacks.

  Anyone else having this issue? Does anyone have a recommended workflow for final cut 7 and 5d mark3 footage? I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
