    5D footage not responding to fcp effects

    Hello everyone!

    I got hired to edit a short film which was shot on a 5D. I imported the footage to fcp(converted to pro res 422 IMA 4:1 COLOR PROFILE HD 1-1-1) and for some reason when i apply basic effects (3 way color correction or any basic fcp effect) the footage is non effected. What could be the problem? Ive never come across this situation before.
