5600×1050 H264 Problems
Reading the subject title, I’m sure you’re saying “duh”. I’m working on a video for a special presentation room. It is essentially the width of 5 screen captures, which is what the video consists of.
I did everything in FCP, but was limited by the sequence size of 4000px in FCP. Exporting that from FCP to H264 MOV was fine. However, the client requested it be done at the full 5600×1050, so I brought it into Premiere CS5, which let me edit at that resolution. However, Premiere won’t let me export an H264 (using MainConcept) at larger than 2000px. I was able to export 5600×1050 from Premiere using x264, but that showed up garbled on the client’s computer.
I am able to export using the animation codec, or uncompressed from Premiere at the full res. But if I try to convert that file to H264, it just gets garbled. Below are screenshots:
