550D FCP workflow using Log and Transfur
Ive spent a while googleing and am getting close not not quite there. It looks like Canon do a ‘E1’ plugin for some of there DSLRs to allow Log & Transfer to work with DSLR files. It is not supported for 550D but it looks like there is a workaround. Anyone know where there is any end-to-end instructions as to how to get this working or an I going the wrong route(I know I could use compressor but that’s another story).

Having successfully done this in past on my Mac Pro & Macbook Pro, for some weird reason i can’t get it going on my Imac.
