5400 rpm hard drive
I bought a Microsoft Signature version of an HP Phoenix computer to use for video editing. I just do short stuff (mostly sports and other school events) so I don’t need a workstation.
But, even though this computer has an i7 with 16 GB ram, it came with a 5400 rpm OS drive. Is that going to slow things down considerably? I’m going to add two more 2 TB hard drives (7200 rpm) to hold my videos and projects, so it shouldn’t be accessing the OS drive that much.
Should I clone the 5400 drive to a 7200 drive and take the 5400 out?
