5.1.2 crashes on launch
I have to repost here since the old thread is already way down. My FCP is still not running. I’ve checked permissions before and after the update, checked the QT extensions, have no 3rd party plugins running, trashed prefs, reinstalled the Pro Applications Update 2006-02, reinstalled the FCP 5.1.2 update, several restarts and zapped P-ram. It still crashes. Any ideas?
System: G5/2GbDP 10.4.8

Thanx Olivier, I already got it. It’s weird, first the FX plugins folder was empty. I’ve checked several times since this folder was under debate. After 2 hours messing around suddenly there’s a Zax item in the folder. I’ve never installed Zax plugins in FCP but it was there. Removed it and launched FCP. I’m up & running now.
