I am trying to encode to 5.1 and have one problem. I have 6 mono files which were produced on Pro Tools and have all been imported and each put into audio tracks. Each track is assigned to L, R, SL, SR, C & LFE. All are working fine except the LFE.

I put the LFE track pan dot into the center position then turn up the LFE knob and turn down the center knob. This puts the audio into the LFE meter, but does not take it out of the left and right channels. It works for the center.

How do I get the LFE track to only go into the LFE channel?

Did you ever get an answer to this problem? I’m having the same issue, and want to figure out how to properly route a LFE channel in Premiere Pro CS5.

    Thanks in advance.
