  50Hz flicker under fluorescent lighting

  Hello,

  I am in (some sort of) France where they use an electricity frequency of 50 Hz.

  My camera is set to a shutter speed of 50, but I still get flicker-effects. I tried all different shutter speeds without success.

  The lights are standard fluorescent lights you can find in an office, supermarket, etc. I tested at several locations using a 5D and 700D.

  Researching in this matter tells me to use exactly those settings but I can’t get rid of the flicker.
