50″ Plasma Display
I am looking for a good Plasma display for a client edit viewing room that will be fed from Multibridge Extreme via component, SDI or DVI routing solution. Am wondering if there are any happy experiences under $3500. I have been looking at the following, but haven’t spent any money yet. Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

Good luck at Costco (and Sams Club, and Wal Mart)
If you want a PROFESSIONAL 50″ Plasma display, do what Blackmagic, AJA, AVID, and almost every professional manufacturer did at NAB2006 –
Panasonic TH50PHD8UK.
Want a killer professional LCD screen (only 46″ though) –
Samsung 460P. -
Not to be a dittohead, but ditto. I’ve just done this myself, and on the plasmas, the Panasonic “Pro” series cannot be beat. I think the Sharp Aquos are the best LCD, but I much prefer the plasma picture generally.
You can do better on price.

For feedback Bob and Adam. I didn’t pay attention to who was using what Plasma at NAB, things just got too hectic and it wasnt foremost on my mind. Now it is. Have to agree with Adam though the Plasmas
still look overall better, although I have not seen the Samsung 460. Did look specs up, and it looks interesting.GC
