    It won’t let Avid come on… stops at the io part of setup. Then, if I turn the power off, and then hit the Avid icon, it comes on fine. I uninstalled Avid, then re-installed 4.8. My tiger was an upgrade. I’m seeing others here and on the Avid site are having the same problem. It’s serious for me as I have a deadline this weekend.

    Did you get this figured out. I have a dsr 1500 I’m having the same problem with. I’m such an idiot for upgrading…

    re-load Quicktime and it should work. You may have to download quicktime from it’s site.
