Posted by Youdontknowme on July 30, 2007 at 10:21 pmDowncoverting HD to DV gives me widescreen in a 4:3 aspect ratio. which is good , but how can i make it 16:9 aspect ratio where it takes up the full screen?

You make it anamorphic and then you have to be sure your system has a video card to properly play that video out full screen on a 16:9 screen. If you’re watching this on a 4:3 screen, then it will be squished horizontally.

July 31, 2007 at 1:58 amIf you make a new sequence using the easy setup for DV NTSC Anamorphic, you can then copy and paste your HD clips into it and it should look fine. If that’s not what you’re looking for, please try to rephrase your question.
