4:3 Film Footage display
Good morning,
Today I got some 4:3 Film footage (2048×1536) and I’d like to cut in this format.
However, when I pull in this footage and press yes, it will show up fine in Final Cut but the Aja Kona looks all stretched.. Is there any way to fix this problem?I already tried creating a HD sequence 1920×1080 and than it shows up perfectly, but, the sequence is red so I have to render all the time…
I’m fairly new to this footage so I hope someone can help me out 🙂Erwin

If you are using an AJA KONA 3 card it provides a 2K Crop feature in the AJA Control Panel application that allows you to crop a 4:3 2K film raster to 1920×1080.Consult the product user manual for details or AJA Technical Support if you have questions.
