    Good morning,

Today I got some 4:3 Film footage (2048×1536) and I’d like to cut in this format.
However, when I pull in this footage and press yes, it will show up fine in Final Cut but the Aja Kona looks all stretched.. Is there any way to fix this problem?

I already tried creating a HD sequence 1920×1080 and than it shows up perfectly, but, the sequence is red so I have to render all the time…
I’m fairly new to this footage so I hope someone can help me out 🙂

If you are using an AJA KONA 3 card it provides a 2K Crop feature in the AJA Control Panel application that allows you to crop a 4:3 2K film raster to 1920×1080.

Consult the product user manual for details or AJA Technical Support if you have questions.
