  • 4-point garbage mattes shifting during rendering

    Hi all.

I’m working on a project in Premiere Pro CC, in which I am using the 4-point garbage matte to isolate certain elements of the video. I have scaled down the clips in conjunction with the mattes, in order to make it appear like a notice on a door is actually a television monitor (with a face appearing on it). This looks exactly as I want it to during the editing process, but then when I come to render it, all of my various mattes are shifting and ‘breaking’.

When I check the values for the matte effect, they are identical to the ones I set – if I edit them and then return back to the original values, the image once again looks perfect. However, when I next render, they are all messed up again.

I haven’t included any screenshots as I’m not sure what images would actually be beneficial, but if you do need any please let me know. Hopefully somebody can help me as I’m running on quite a tight deadline!

    Many thanks!

If you have the GPU acceleration on try turning it off.
