    hey

    have a question —–

    normally when I output a tape on a digi or sp beta —- i normally have 2 channels of audio

    — my question is — if was to do 4 channels of audio —- what would I need to do —

    do i make a track 3 and track 4 on the avid timeline and duplicate the tracks on track one and track two ???

    please advise

    On the higher end Beta SP decks (PVW2800, BVW70/75), you’ll have a mix switch, but I believe you only get a copy of 1 and 2. I’m not familiar with digi-beta / J-decks…

    What are your two channels. Vo, Dia, SFX Music? Mixed?

    Are you outputting a stereo mix or direct split?

    Sounds like a two channel mix. But your on track… just add two more tracks.

    usually 4 tracks are used for 4 channel split tracks or 3 and 4 are the Mix Minus Vo.
