4 channel audio
We are attempting to output 4 channels of audio from a FCP timeline. It keeps mixing channel 3 to channel 1. When we ISO channels, some of them come up a little short on volume. We are testing using the built in audio. The timeline is 23.98 with an HDW2000/1 HDCAM deck. The deck is set up to record 23.98. On the deck, there is normal audio on the meters on 1,2, & 4 but nothing dshows on ch3. FCP will send a signal but it’s either coming out of FCP incorrectly or coming out of the BMD card incorrectly.

Hi Steve,
What about the audio meters in Final Cut Pro’s Audio Mixer? Are all four channels present?
