3rd Party Support for 5.1 Audio for Premiere Pro

We’ve been attempting to update our bays to 5.1 audio using iMac, Black Magic Design UltraStudio Express, to an HDMI to dis-embedder to a consumer level amplifier.We can get the iMac to behave properly with 5.1 audio when it’s played out when Premiere Pro is open. We can also get to playback properly when Adobe Audition is open as well.
As soon as Adobe Premiere is opened it overwrites the presets. We’ve been able to get it to work with Audio or Video but not both at the same time. It also appears to throw off the disembbedder from Green to Red as soon as Adobe is opened as well.
We’ve had similar issue when attempting to set up AJA as well and it appears the Adobe blogs are littered with these type of playout issues using 3rd party playback devices.
What is the proper solution or who do you contact to resolve these issues?
