  3G Switch…Negative Effect on AE?

  Hi, I’m using AE CS3 with 4 GB Ram, duo core using 3G switch. I get an error message that I should lower the ram cache(and raise something else that escapes me), even when rendering a sentence of text using a Blur Preset or complex projects. I’ve tried changing the settings in the memory preference panel, but it still happens.. Is the 3G switch to blame? Are there ideal settings for this? Never had an issue with previous AE. Thanks for any direction.
