Basically, I want to have a after effects 3D text layer integrated into a shot I did in MAX (2.5 integration). I’m using the .rpf format to bring in the camera data. So far so good. The problem is that I didn’t figure out how to integrate the text with the shot yet. As far as I know, you’d need a helper (null, dummy, point, etc) to provide the coordinates so that you can copy and past into the 3d text layer. If this is correct, how do I import the helpers from MAX? If I’m wrong, please educate me!
    Thank youS!

personally i don’t have the answer – never used Max

but you will find some very good tutorials by Andrew Kramer at http://www.videocopilot.net – and i do know he has some which involve Max and AE.
