    Hey.

I stumbled across an amazing effect in a game called Spinter Cell: Conviction, i was wondering if there is any way of doing this?

The in game text appears on the surroundings (buildings, floors, ect) as if it were projected onto them.

I would appreciate it if somebody knew how to do this or even something very similar.

    Thanks

There’s a tutorial by Eran Stern here on the COW, called “Crime and Chaos”. Have a look and tell us if that’s the effect you’re looking for.

If you’re looking to track shots into a 3d scene with camera movement you can try the tracker in AE or Mocha (which ships with AE CS4, but if there’s too much 3d motion, you’re going to need to look into proper 3d tracers like Boujou, Synth Eyes, Icarus, etc.
