3d Squares Background
Posted by Chris Siefken on September 24, 2018 at 6:46 pmI’m trying to find a way to recreate the background of this (or something similar to it):
Does anyone know how to create something like this?
Thanks,

September 24, 2018 at 7:23 pmYou could do it using Element 3D in After Effects, or in any 3D program – I use 3DS Max. It can be done using an array of boxes (in Element 3D), or in Max, creating a box, then an array, then animating the boxes and offsetting their timing.

September 24, 2018 at 7:33 pmThanks, I actually have Element. I’ll give the array a shot. I don’t do that much with 3d so I wanted to make sure there wasn’t a pure After Effects solution before diving into other plugins/programs.
