    Hello,

I am sure this has been posted a few times, believe me I was searching the forums but I still can’t figure this out…:(

So, I have an image converted into a 3D layer, at the bottom of my composition window. As I try to rotate the object around the Y axis it starts facing at the bottom, and I don’t get a nice rotation around this axis.

I know it has to do something with the Local and World axis buttons, but nothing changes when I switch between these. As I move the object back to the middle of the composition, the rotation works well…

How to rotate this in its place (bottom) nicely around the Y axes??

    THANKS!!!

Do you have a camera in the Composition? Are you certain you are viewing the Comp from the Active Camera View?

The above is normal behaviour. Do you want a view with no perspective?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help!

What I needed was a perspective without perspective. As I set my focal distance to 200mm (as mentioned in the thread you gave me) I got the look I wanted.

    Sincerly yours…
