3D Ribbon Effect
There’s a 3D “ribbon” that moves along and carries you through the following spot. Please someone explain how to create this.
Here’s an example of what I am looking for:

There are some tut’s on creative cow.
What i would do is have a solid 20 pixels squared and in comp. create a path inside another comp for the movement. get the previous solid add it in to the second comp and have it animate along your path. Then apply the effect ‘echo’ the way the created the gradient shine is through lights with in the second comp. blah blah blah actually here’s the link!Joe Chao is the guy who created the tut below is the link!

This isn’t going to work for me. I need something that is able to move in 3D space, and be manuputable with a Camera and have that nice shading around corners. Look at the video link.
