3D rendering speed.
Hello!
I render my 3d footage from Sony 3d camera in Vegas Movie Studio. I have Intel Quad 6600 processor (released in 2007) and NVidia GeForce 265 card. And it takes 27 hours to render 100-minute Blu-Ray 3D disk.
And what are your results on your equipment?

There’s way too many unknowns in your question to be able to even guess where your bottleneck is.
Every f/x adds to the rendering task, but Vegas’ best friend is more processor power. I have not worked with 3D, but I can imagine that this also increases the load on the processor.

What are you rendering to? It doesn’t really matter what anyone else is getting, as most of us are using the Pro version of Sony Vegas.
You’re not going to get blazing fast render speeds since your footage is 3D, and you admittedly have a computer system that is not equipped for ultimate performance.
If you’re looking for faster renders, you need to upgrade to an Intel i7 Ivy Bridge processor at the very minimum.
