    hi
A novice C4D user but learning rapidly.
Want to add a glowing 3d object to some 3d footage that contains a pool of rippling water.

Haven’t a clue as to how to proceed.

Can anyone suggest some tutorials that might help?

I will use After Effects to comp the 3d elements with the live footage.

Not completely sure what you trying to do but if you want to make an object glow in 3d then you can turn on the glow channel in the material options.

It might be better to add the glow in after effects so you have more control. You could add a compositing tag to the object and render an object buffer so you could add glow to just that object in after effects.

If you comping it together then ae you could comp a reflection on to the footage.

    hope this helps.
