I’m trying to apply an image to be the backfacing portion of my image in the 3D layer warps, but it’s not working at all, looks like a stretched out gray mat coned behind the layer when I turn the layer. The backfacing image is a jpg, but I didn’t think that would be an issue considering the image I used as a color map for the front side of the image was a jpg as well. The only thing I’ve thought of to troubleshoot it is if I duplicate the original layer, and make the backfacing image as the color map, and make all the positions 1pixel less. However, I’d REALLY rather not do that as there is a lot of 3d turning and it would kill me. Thanks!

    Hi Christina,

Sometimes, if the “Best Geometric Detail” setting is set too low, the backfacing image may not appear correctly. To fix this, increase the default valut of “60×60” to a higher value such as “400×400” and you should be able to see your backfacing image.

    Best,
    Edward
