3D imported into AE – Cinema 4D Prime
Hi Thank you for reading.
I have an illustrator who did these beautiful illustrations of perfume in Cinema 4D prime.
they are 3D, but sent to me as a photoshop file, not exported as 3d Objects.
I want to bring time into AE.
I think he does not know how to export them as 3D objects.
How can i tell him to do this?
I am running CS5.5 AE, he has versionThe illustrator says:
the basic design (i.e. labels to be printed) was made mostly with Illustrator.
Then for 3D, it was imported into and worked on with Cinema4D prime (i.e. the basic version of the software since what I did is quite basic and without animation).
Then colours, shadows, reflections, were further refined with Photoshop (by importing into it different rendering from c4D with different lighting effects, which I was combining).
What do you think?

Unfortunately I don’t think AE CS5.5 has the ability to work with 3D. You need a Creative Cloud version with Cinema 4D Lite or a plugin like Element 3D to actually work with a 3D object in After Effects.
