I am trying to create a flag that twists across the screen. Maybe twists isn’t the right word. I want it to appear as though the person who’s holding it (who you don’t see) is twirling it. I want to use this as a wipe but I want it to look as organic as possible. I can’t seem to find any manuals or tutorials for 3d flag on the zaxwerks site. I’m having a hard time just blindly manipulating the pole. So any additional information would be helpful.
    Thanks.

    Hi Kierra,

The key is rotating the pole as you’ve said, The flag will follow it. Simply decide how you want the pole to rotate (in the x, y or z direction) and set a couple of keyframes. If you get stuck, let us know.

Yes, I got it to work in a so-so way. I’m just not happy with the wind effect and I need to add some nuance to the movement I think. Is there documentation somewhere for 3d flag. I thought I used to have a pdf user guide but can’t find it and can’t find it on the site. THanks.

    Hi Kierra,

A hypertext help guide is included. Look for the 3D Flag Help folder.
