I am looking to getting tooled up to edit in 3D this month and am interested in what FCP Plugins y’all have had the most success in.

I’ve looked into Stereo3D Toolbox and Neo3D and understand I’ll need a 3D Monitor to present the work. Is there any other bits of kit you recommend?

Finally, I’ve been delivered the source material in Avid DNxHD Codec. It plays normally as a monoscopic image (the board indicates I’m looking at the left image). Is the Right image embedded in the same file or do I need to request the right image as a separate file.

    Many thanks,

    w

It’s life Jim, but not as we know it.

You need an I/O device that works with 3D. The Kona 3 does. Others may, but I’m not a 3D expert.
