    Hi everyone,

I want to simulate this logo is rotating. What is the best software to create this so I can animate it in After effects. I dont have access to any specialist 3d software, can it be achieved in illustrator?

    Thanks

    Ali

You could use Free Form or FreeForm Pro to distort a ribbon in 3d, but that may take a lot of tweaking. You can also try using Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro to create a cone and apply a texture with alpha that can simulate the ribbon.
Another idea would be to use 3D Stroke or even Particular.
A free 3d app that can be used to model the logo would be Blender.
