I remember seeing a tutorial long ago about creating wine/champagne glasses in Invigorator…can anyone point me in the right direction…Or if anyone has another suggestion, I’m all ears….Thanks in advance…

    Michael,

It’s easy using a custom edge and a very small Illustrator circle as the base object. I seem to remember some info on the Zaxwerks site – otherwise, search the archives. If I can dig up more specifics, I’ll add a follow-up post.

    Hi,

I don’t know about a tut but here are some custom edges that you could download from here:
    https://zaxwerks.com/goodies/custom_edges.shtml

I also have a champagne flute created for you here:
    https://www.nyc-visual.com/Edge_Examples.sit

You need to replace the file with the one located in your Edge Examples subfolder then apply the edge named “Champagne_Flute”.

If you want the glass to be full like in the following example: https://www.nyc-visual.com/Flute.mov do the following:
Apply the edge named “Liquid” to a second tinny circle in order to map it with a champagne color looking map then reduce this second object depth by one point.

Duplicating this second object, reducing its depth by one point and applying a bubbles map to it would help too.

    Salut.
    Serge
