    Hi all!
    I’d like to create a 3D-ish animation of an opening book like this one https://dl.free.fr/owpFvWHaC/3dbooks.mpg

    As I’m somewhat a newcommer to after effects I can’t think of any means to reach this and I don’t even know if there’s such a thing as a way to achieve this in AE but before firing up my 3D-package I thought it was worth asking you guys first…..

    Try this search here. It finds what you need very quickly. The second result in that search turned up this link – it even includes project files!

    forge freeform from digieffects could work in AE, or Ive done numerous versions of that type look using 3d deformations…

    I couldn’t get the video to work, but have you tried CC Page Turn? It’s in Effects>Distort
