32bit audio only export (e.g. as wav)?
Dear all,
In the context of a scientific research project, we recorded
(a) Video clips of participants saying words using a camera
(b) at the same time high-quality audio using extra microphones (wav-files, 44.1 kHz, 32 bit)We would like to combine both tracks, and cut it into short clips of 1-4 sec duration. For this we tried the trial version of Sony Vegas. It worked quite well so far, however, we need to be able to export two different files:
(1) a video file which combines the video with the new high-quality audio track => this works fine
(2) the same bit of the audio track used for (1), but as an wav-file and with the original quality of 44.1 kHz and 32 bit. => here’s the problem. Regarding the workflow that would work pretty good in Vegas, but the options for saving the selection as audio-file offer only 16-bit audio as maximum resolution. Therefore my question: Is Adobe Premiere Elements/Pro able to save/export this? If not, is there any other software which can save only the audio track into a wav-file with 32bit resolution? (and, of course, maintains the 32bit resolution on file-import in the first place…)
Thanks a lot,
Andre
