I have a shot from a film xfer reel that has pulldown in it, I need to do a little work on the shot so I see the “reverse” telecine” and it properly removes pulldown,So how do i add the pulldown back into the shot in order to bring it back to it’s proper duration and voice sync?

I’m sure the feature has to be hidden somewhere, If there’s a feature to remove pulldown, there has to be a feature to return it.

My xfer reel is 29.97 and my sequence is 29.97, I only need to do pulldown removal/expansion on a few of the shots.

I’m looking for a workflow similar to the way AVID DS or Smoke handles pulldown.

FCP can add pulldown during output to tape, but if you want to do it ‘software only,’ you’ll need to use Compressor. Search the forum and you’ll find several threads on how to do this.
    Hope this helps,
