Hi. I searched for this but couldn’t find an answer for my problem. I just bought a Sony AX2000 HD video camera. It seems to record the audio as 48,000 Khz 32 bit )/Stereo. When I import this into AE CS4, I can see the audio waveform in the project thumbnail but when I drop it into a composition and try and render there is no audio on the clip. When I look on clips timeline under audio waveform there is nothing there. If I import the same clip into Premiere, the audio is there.

    What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, this is mpg file. I tried to install MPEG Streamclip and during install it said I had to uninstall all quicktime programs and install the quicktime alternative. Will this mess up premiere and AE Quicktime rendering capabilities?

    Thanks again
