  30p to DVD aliasing/flickering

  I shot a project with a Sony EX1 at 1080 30p. In creating a DVD the video has bad flickering or aliasing on fine lines. I have set my project settings to 720×480 widescreen 29.97 lower field and then rendered to mpeg2 with those settings. I also tried changing everything to progressive and rendering, but I get the same result. Any suggestions on improving this? Thanks.
