3 new features I’m loving in AE 2018: keyboard shortcuts editor, colored markers, instant marker-with-dialog

[James Poulakos] “I spent some time with the Keyboard Shortcuts editing feature — very nice! I can finally use my arrow keys to frame to frame, and use the big +/- keys on the numpad for zooming.”

We could change shorcuts before, just not so easily, that is indeed a nice addition.

[James Poulakos] “I can set a keyboard shortcut to place the marker and pull up the dialog box in one stroke. The cursor is in the comments field, ready for typing. Those two features are already saving me time.”

I Believe that already existed by pressing alt + *.

I haven’t noticed the colored markers, thanks for pointing that out.

Markers can also have duration. ☺
