    Thanks Graham,

I think I’ve used the correct workaround.

As suggested by you both, I ended up using the legacy text media generator and animating it with key frames. It appears to be providing the best output for rolling credits. I tried everything! Seems very sill to be using legacy plugins to get good quality output. Baffles the heck out of me.

I’m rendering the entire project right now… another 30min to go.

Where’s the wmv you’re referring to?

I’ve tried to upload to the COW. Not working at present.

Glad you’ve got a way through. This breakup of text dogs all of us.

    Grazie

Yes, I did look at a large number of posts in this regard.

Still baffled as to why a “pro” software like Vegas Pro doesn’t address this properly.

O..K..Gilles me lad! As promised. It IS WMV and then re-coded by Bessie here . .. I used 12 Point Times with loads of SERIF and stuff that makes for a “Tweening-Nighmare”. It’s not as smooth as I’d wish, but that’s another story. The actual clarity isn’t to shabby:

    Thanks Graham me lad!

As I asked, detail your rendering workflow, leaving nothing out through to DVD resolution. Are your using 720×576? What’s your PAR?

Pixel Aspect Ratio. You’re NTSC so it’s either 0.9091 (standard) or 1.2121 (Widescreen)
