2k to 1080p resize in vegas
I’m rendering 2k footage for a davinci grade using DNxHD which outputs at 1080p. I cant work out how to do the downscale. I DONT want letterboxing, I want to take a 1920×1080 cut out of the centre of my 2k footage. As opposed to having it shrunk down and letterboxed which means I have to then upres it to get a full frame 1080p image and would thus lose resolution.
Ive been playing with it for hours but cant get it to work…How do I do this? Cheers

Place 2K clips on the timeline in 1080p project. Open Pan/Crop window, right click and choose Match Output Aspect
